Its peculiar odor of tropical fruit and its cosmetic properties, make it suitable to soften the dry skins and to protect them of the precocious aging.
As a major source of carotene, zeaxanthin primarily filters blue light and neutralizes free radicals generated by solar rays. The piqui oil is very rich in unsaturated fatty acids, proteins, carotene, vitamin A, lycopene, pectin and calcium .
The piqui oil allows to improve the tolerance to the sun, acting as protector against the ultraviolet and leaves a magnificent tan.
